I'm not bothered whether they're old fashioned or not, it just bothers me that Edward doesn't seem to have ANY interests that don't involve Bella in he books :/ 'Cept maybe hunting, but that's more of a necessity.

I like them both, really, I just prefer Jake... a LOT. Because he never irritates me, and Edward often can. xD

Jake irritates me a lot on book 4 (i forgot the name of it). but i guess every single caracter irritates me on that book. it's just an annoying book in general. IMO of course

Stephenie likes to make things convenient for herself, IMO, and make things up to add things that she wants into the story there, even if it doesn't really make sense.

They are entertaining though.

not that much...i mean it had everything to be a good movie but it ended up bad because it had a REALLY bad director! the conversations between Bella and Ed (before they startd dating) were so empty! if you didn't read the book you won't understand why they fell in love at all! the book is much more intense! plus every scene is so fast like they cut a lot of things so they could fit in a 2 hours films. another thing i didn't like was the school. it was supposed to be a really red neck school right? but in the movei it's a "cool" school with "cool" kids.

now let's talk about what i like! i like the kiss scene in Bella's room. it's soooo hot! Embarassed

Rob is beyond hot. Shocked

i liked the first time they arrive together in the school. it's really funny. Charlie is also very funny in this movie

edit: haha Kito i didn't read your post before posting this one! you guessed sooooooo right! the director ruined it! the scenes could be so much better and intense. she just made it look rushed and superficial. i know every book the turns into a movie has this problem but when you watch it you will see it had potencial to be such a great movie! it's a pitty Neutral

SUMMIT BEGINS SEARCH FOR NEW MOON DIRECTOR

Los Angeles , CA , December 7, 2008 – Summit Entertainment and director Catherine Hardwicke jointly announced today that the filmmaker will not be directing the next installment in the newly minted TWILIGHT film franchise. Summit ’s targeted end of 2009 or early 2010 release of the film, NEW MOON, does not work with Ms. Hardwicke’s required prep time to bring her vision of the film to the big screen. Thus as has been done before with many successful film franchises, the studio will employ a new director for NEW MOON.

"I am sorry that due to timing I will not have the opportunity to direct NEW MOON,” said Hardwicke. “Directing TWILIGHT has been one of the great experiences of my life, and I am grateful to the fans for their passionate support of the film. I wish everyone at Summit the best with the sequel-- it is a great story."

“Catherine did an incredible job in helping us to launch the TWILIGHT franchise and we thank her for all of her efforts and we very much hope to work with her on future Summit projects,” said Erik Feig, Summit ’s President of Production. “We as a studio have a mandate to bring the next installment in the franchise to the big screen in a timely fashion so that fans can get more of Edward, Bella and all of the characters that Stephenie Meyer has created. We are able to pursue an aggressive time frame as we have the luxury of only adapting the novels into screenplays as opposed to having to create a storyline from scratch.”

I was kind of .. not mad, but.. I didn't like it when I heard about Dakota.. Because I know Jane's supposed to be young and all, but I never imagined her THAT young, I always pictured her like 16, or something, but just very small to appear younger. Short, with little features and stuff.
